• If, during his or her lifetime, the deceased person was unable to take care of his or her property, and the public curator of Quebec was responsible for it, you must, before you can proceed with the inventory of the deceased's estate, obtain from the latter a list of all the property that he or she administered for the deceased.

• In accordance with the provisions of applicable legislation, including Law 25 , it is very likely that the public curator, before transmitting to you the data and information that he holds on the deceased person, will require certain documents:
  • A death certificate issued by the Registrar of Civil Status.
  • testamentary searches issued by the Chamber of Notaries of Quebec and the Barreau du Québec.
