The owner of a copyright can assign his right to produce or to reproduce a work which he created to other persons by means of a contract. The assignment consists in transferring, partially or totally, your rights to a third party. You so give up your rights in your work. The registration of the assignment in the Register of Copyrights is not mandatory, but desirable.
