Certificate of registry

The certificate of registry is issued by the Chief Registrar when it considers that all of the requirements for the registration or listing of a vessel have been met. The Chief Registrar must then register or list the vessel in the Register and issue the certificate of registry. The certificate must include the following information concerning the vessel: its description, official number, name and address of its owner as well as the marine mortgages registered against this vessel.
