Registration division

A registration division is a division of the Quebec territory for administrative purposes. There is a registry office in each registration division.

In Quebec, There are 73 registration divisions. They vary greatly in terms of size and population density. Thus, the island of Montreal forms a single registration division, while the registration division of Terrebonne goes from Rivière des Mille-Îles to Mont-Tremblant and from Boisbriand to Bois-des-Filion.
