What Wills must be verified by the court?

A will or a codicil holograph written entirely in the deceased's own handwriting, as well as a will witnessed by a witness or a codicil witnessed by a witness, must be verified by the court in a application to the Superior Court, or by a notary. Thus, all wills, with the exception of notarial ones must be probated by the court.
