To what commits himself the person who signs a non-solicitation and non-competition agreement?

During all the term of his commitment of non-solicitation and non-competition and during a certain period of time following the end of the latter, the person who signs such an agreement, makes a commitment not to solicit the clients of the business nor contact them.
