The seller will have to consider that, from the proceeds of the sale, it will be necessary for him, in most of the cases, to pay the fees of real estate brokerage. Also, he will have used the services of a land surveyor to prepare a location certificate describing the location of the real estate property at the time of sale.
In numerous cases, the seller will have to repay the hypothec (also known as mortgage) which he granted on the real estate property sold and obtain a discharge from his lending financial institution in order to cancel this hypothec. The costs of this discharge will include the taxable fees for professional services and the costs of publication in the land register.
