The adjustments, some people are talking about settlements, are these sums which must be calculated relatively to certain expenses to be shared between the seller and the purchaser.
These calculations concern in particular the municipal and school taxes. They can also apply to the monthly common expenses of an immovable property held in divided co-ownership and, more rarely, to concern a rent.
