What is the warranty of quality?

The warranty of quality means that The seller is bound to warrant the buyer that the immovable property sold and its accessories are, at the time of the sale, free from latent/hidden defects which render it unfit for the use for which it was intended or which so diminish its usefulness that the buyer would not have bought it or paid so high a price if he had been aware of them. These problems or defects affect the quality of the building, land or the accessories therein installed such as a garage or pool.

The warranty of quality ensures that the seller remains liable to the buyer for any latent defect affecting the property sold even if he was unaware of them at the time of sale.
