Of what consists the description appearing in the deed of hypothec?

The description of the property hypothecated (also known as mortgaged) refers essentially to the number of the lot on which the hypothec will have to be published in the land register. The address of the real estate property used by the municipality, when there is a building erected on the immovable property, is part of the information which will appear in the deed of hypothec, but it is not used to legally described the immovable property being the subject of the loan.
