Too fast and superficial examinations are not then sufficient. Although a succinct examination is requested, it is necessary at least that it is thorough and well executed.
The inspector is also exposed to certain consequences if he does not indicate to the purchaser all the defects, even minor, that he noticed during his inspection. The same goes for the inspector having detected a significant clue as to a latent defect, but did not refer the purchaser to an expert for confirmation.
