What are the requirements for receiving medical assistance in dying following an advance request?

The individual must meet all the conditions set forth by law, including having become incapacitated, exhibiting the clinical symptoms described in their request, and experiencing persistent and unbearable suffering. Compliance with these conditions must be confirmed by two doctors or specialized nurse practitioners; therefore, submitting an advance request does not automatically entitle the person to medical assistance in dying.
