Depending on the circumstances, the following documents,
among others, may be required:
- the death certificate;
- certificates of probate
search;
- the decedent’s last will and testament, if
any;
- relevant marriage, civil union,
divorce, or death certificates;
- documents establishing the family
relationship between the decedent and the heirs;
- any other document necessary to
establish entitlement to the estate.
