What are the rights of children born to common-law partners in a parental union?

Under the Civil Code of Québec, all children, whether born of marriage, civil union, parental union or de facto union, enjoy the same rights. The rules governing parental authority and the support obligations of parents towards their children apply to de facto spouses in a parental union.
