The warranty of quality means that the seller is bound to warrant the buyer that the movable property sold is, at the time of the sale, free from latent/hidden defects which make it unfit for the use for which it was intended or which so diminish its usefulness that the buyer would not have bought it or paid so high a price if he had been aware of them. The warranty of quality ensures that the seller remains liable to the buyer for any latent defect affecting the movable property sold even if he was unaware of them at the time of the sale.
