What does a survey report contain?

The content of a survey report will always depend on the surveyor who prepared it, but some basic points are generally mentioned:

• the technical description of the vessel, its hull and its equipment;
• list of important repairs, care and alterations to be performed;
• the approximate commercially reasonable price of the vessel.
