What happens when the deceased was the sole owner of the boat or of one or more shares in the boat?

The vessel, or one or more shares in the vessel, will be included in the deceased's patrimony. Within the framework of the liquidation of the succession of the deceased, the liquidator will have to transfer its ownership to the legatees according to the terms of the deceased's Will or, if there is no Will, to the heirs according to the legal devolution provided in the Civil Code of Quebec.
