Why the syndicate must keep a register of co-ownership and what it must contain?

These registers are often unrecognized by the future co-owners. Nevertheless, their consultation is often primordial. The registers of co-ownership contain the names and addresses of all the co-owners and tenants of the immovable property, the minutes of proceedings of meetings of the co-owners and of the board of directors and the financial statements of the co-ownership. If a modification to the by-laws of the immovable is made, these new by-laws will have to appear in the register of co-ownership. It is also in this register that the directors will have to maintain and keep at the disposal of the co-owners all the documents relative to the divided co-ownership and the syndicate of co-owners, subject to the provisions of the laws aiming at the protection of personal information.
