What insurances have to be taken out by the syndicate of co-owners and which of those are the responsibility of co-owners?

The syndicate of co-owners must take out comprehensive insurance covering the responsibility towards tenants and third parties and that, for the entire immovable property. This insurance also covers the private portions of the immovable property. Each of the co-owners will have to take out insurance on improvements which he made to his unit. In other words, the insurance taken out by the syndicate only covers the immovable property in its original condition. As for the modifications or improvements made to the private portion, it must be covered by the insurance of the co-owner of this portion.
