What are the steps which follow the verification of a Will and what are the time limits to be respected?

When a holograph Will or Will before two witnesses is verified by a notary, the latter notifies to the heirs a notice of probate to which is attached a copy of the Will.

Following this notification, if the heirs have observations or representations to be made, they have to make them known within a time limit of ten days of notification of the notice.

Once this time limit has elapsed, the notary examines the original of the Will and proceeds with the probate.

Afterwards the notary will be able to issue certified true copies of the probated Will to any interested person requesting it.
