Call for payment

Call for payment refers to a payment request to shareholders through a notice issued by the board of directors of the issuing corporation. Unless the terms of payment for shares are determined by contract, the board of directors may, by way of call for payment, require from the shareholders all or part of the amount unpaid on shares they have subscribed for.
