An administrator of the property of others is a person who is charged with the administration of property or a patrimony that is not his own. This person may administer such property or patrimony following its appointment as tutor for a minor or curator for an incapacitated adult. The liquidator of a succession and the mandatary appointed under a protection mandate in case of incapacity, are also administrators of the property of others.
Actions that can be performed by the administrator of the property of others fall into two categories: acts of simple administration and acts of full administration.
