The share indicates that there is concurrence of the undivided co-owners (persons being part of the undivided co-ownership) in the holding of the property by quantifying their respective interests in the property. The share measures the portion of the expenses to be borne by each of the undivided co-owners, the proportion of fruits and revenues susceptive to return to them etc. In the absence of such provisions, the shares of the undivided co-owners are presumed to be equal.
