Are the representations as for the surface of your unit of co-ownership made according to gross or net surface?

  • Surfaces mentioned in the advertising of most developers are speaking of gross surfaces. These surfaces are calculated from the exterior walls, through the common walls and the exterior walls of corridors and that, without considering the support columns inside the unit. In some cases, surfaces can even include balconies.
  • The net surfaces as defined by a land surveyor are calculated from the interior of the gypsum wallboard, from one end to the other by excluding even the columns inside the units of co-ownership.
