What can do a business corporation if it wants to acquire another business corporation?

Both in Canada and in Quebec, at first, a business corporation can merge with another business corporation to reach its objective of acquisition. Next, it can also proceed to such an acquisition by purchasing the shares held by the shareholders in the share capital of the business corporation which it wants to acquire, or else by purchasing all or part of the property which this last business corporation owns.
